Terms of Use
- Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- 1. These terms of use apply to the use of the facilities and services of “G.O.A.T.” (hereinafter referred to as “the Facility”).
- 2. Guests shall comply with these terms of use, the accommodation agreement, the welcome guide, and any requests made by email or orally.
- Article 2 (House Rules)

- No smoking inside the facility. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
- Please dispose of garbage by sorting it at designated locations.
- If any facility or equipment is damaged or lost, the guest shall bear the repair or replacement cost.
- Do not cook smoky food such as grilled meat indoors without proper ventilation.
- Please close all windows before going out.
- Please report immediately if you damage or lose any equipment. For the safety of the cleaning staff, place broken dishes or glasses separately from other trash. Replacement costs may be charged if necessary.
- Entering under the building is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
- Fireworks other than handheld ones (e.g., skyrockets, launch fireworks) are prohibited. When using handheld fireworks, ensure they do not spread fire to the facility or vegetation.
- Pets are not allowed in buildings that are not designated as pet-friendly. Only dogs are permitted, and the rules must be strictly followed to ensure safety and hygiene for all guests.
- Article 3 (Sauna Usage Rules)

- Use the sauna at your own risk. The Facility is not responsible for accidents or health issues related to sauna use.
- To avoid carbon monoxide poisoning, always close the stove door except when adding firewood.
- Keep the ventilation fan switch off and the air intake open.
- Never extinguish the fire with water as it may damage the stove.
- Do not remove firewood once placed in the stove.
- No shoes are allowed in the sauna room or on the wooden deck.
- Only pour water on sauna stones during löyly. Do not pour water elsewhere.
- Never place gas canisters or similar items in the sauna.
- Do not chop or split firewood on the wooden deck.
- If you feel suffocated, exit the sauna and ventilate immediately.
- Article 4 (Use of the Stream)

To enjoy the stream safely, please follow the rules below.
- Swimwear must be worn when entering the river. Do not enter without proper attire.
- Children of junior high school age or younger must be accompanied by a guardian when entering the river. Always monitor their safety.
- No alcohol is allowed near the river due to safety concerns.
- Do not enter the river during high water levels (e.g., when the water reaches the bottom step). Always check conditions in advance and prioritize safety.
- Article 5 (Parking Use)

- The Facility is not responsible for any accidents or damages to vehicles while using the parking lot. Use at your own risk.
- Parking is allowed from 3:00 PM on the check-in day until 11:30 AM on the check-out day. Do not park outside of these hours.
- Please move your car promptly after check-out as cleaning vehicles may need access.
- Article 6 (Safety and Emergency Response)
- Please follow all instructions regarding evacuation, emergency contacts, and other emergency responses in case of fire alarm activation.
- Article 7 (Privacy and Personal Information)
- Personal information provided will be used solely for accommodation management and service provision and will be properly protected.
- Article 8 (Changes to Terms)
- These terms may be revised as necessary. Any revisions will be posted on the Facility’s official website.
Accommodation Agreement
- (Scope of Application)
- Article 1

The accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded between our facility and guests shall be governed by the provisions of this agreement, and matters not specified herein shall be governed by laws and general practices.
- 2. If our facility agrees to a special agreement within the bounds of laws and practices, that special agreement shall take precedence over the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
- (Application for Accommodation Contract)
- Article 2

Anyone wishing to apply for an accommodation contract with our facility must provide the following information:

- (1) Guest name
- (2) Accommodation date(s)
- (3) Other information deemed necessary by our facility
- 2. If the guest wishes to extend their stay beyond the original dates, the facility will treat it as a new accommodation contract application at the time of the request.
- (Conclusion of the Accommodation Contract)
- Article 3

- The accommodation contract is concluded when our facility accepts the application. However, this does not apply if the facility proves it did not accept the application.
- 2. Upon conclusion of the contract, the guest must pay the prescribed deposit by the date specified by our facility.
- 3. The deposit shall be first applied to the accommodation fee, then cancellation charges and damages, and any balance will be refunded upon final settlement as stipulated in Article 11.
- 4. If the deposit is not paid by the specified date, the accommodation contract becomes void, provided that the guest was informed of the payment deadline.
- (Special Agreements Not Requiring Deposit)

- Notwithstanding paragraph 2 of the previous article, our facility may accept a special agreement not requiring a deposit.
- 2. If the facility does not request the deposit or set a payment deadline, it is considered to have agreed to the special agreement.
- (Refusal to Conclude Accommodation Contract)
- Article 5
- Our facility may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases:
- (1) If the application does not comply with this agreement.
- (2) If there are no available rooms due to full occupancy.
- (3) If the applicant is likely to engage in acts against laws, public order, or morals.
- (4) If the applicant falls under any of the following:
- a. Organized crime groups, members, affiliates, or related parties
- b. Corporations controlled by such groups
- c. Corporations with executives who are members of such groups
- (5) If the applicant is likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests.
- (6) If the applicant is clearly infected with a contagious disease.
- (7) If unreasonable demands are made.
- (8) If accommodation is impossible due to disasters or other unavoidable reasons.
- (9) If applicable under Article 6 of the Yamanashi Prefectural Ordinance on Inns and Hotels.
- (10) If the facility deems the guest inappropriate for accommodation.
- (Right to Cancel the Accommodation Contract by the Guest)
- Article 6

- The Guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the Facility.
- 2. If the Guest cancels the accommodation contract in whole or in part due to reasons attributable to the Guest (except when the Facility has requested payment of the application deposit specifying the payment due date based on Article 3, Paragraph 2, and the Guest cancels the contract before such payment), the Guest shall pay a penalty. The amount of the penalty shall be as specified in Appendix 2. However, if the Facility agrees to the special provisions under Article 4, Paragraph 1, this shall apply only when the Facility has notified the Guest of the obligation to pay a penalty upon cancellation.
- (Right to Cancel the Contract by the Facility)
- Article 7

The Facility may cancel the accommodation contract under any of the following circumstances:
- (1) When the Guest is deemed likely to violate laws, public order, or good morals, or is found to have done so during the stay.
- (2) When the Guest is deemed to fall under any of the following categories:
- a. Organized crime groups, group members, quasi-members, or affiliates, or other antisocial forces
- b. Corporations or organizations under the control of organized crime groups or members
- c. Corporations whose officers include members of organized crime groups
- (3) When the Guest has caused significant inconvenience to other guests.
- (4) When the Guest is clearly identified as having an infectious disease.
- (5) When the Guest makes violent demands or seeks burdens beyond reasonable limits.
- (6) When the Facility cannot accommodate the Guest due to force majeure such as natural disasters.
- (7) When falling under the conditions stipulated in Article 6 of the Yamanashi Prefectural Hotel Business Law Enforcement Ordinance.
- (8) When the Guest smokes in bed, tampers with fire prevention equipment, or otherwise violates facility rules deemed necessary for fire prevention.
- (9) Any other case where the Facility deems the Guest unsuitable for accommodation.
2. If the Facility cancels the accommodation contract based on the above, the Guest shall not be charged for any services not yet received.
- (Registration of Accommodation)
- Article 8

Guests must register the following information:
- (1) Name, age, sex, address, and occupation of the Guest (For foreign nationals: nationality, passport number, place and date of entry)
- (2) Date and scheduled time of departure
- (3) Other matters deemed necessary by the Facility
2. If the Guest intends to pay the accommodation fee using a credit card or accommodation voucher, such information must be presented during the above registration process.
- (Use Time of Guest Room)
- Article 9

- The Guest may use the room from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival to 11:00 AM the next day. However, for consecutive stays, the room may be used all day except for the arrival and departure dates.
- 2. If the Guest fails to check out after 11:00 AM on the day of departure, an additional fee of ¥12,000 per hour will be charged.
- (Compliance with Rules)

- Guests must follow the facility rules displayed or notified in the facility premises.
- (Payment of Charges)

The accommodation charges to be paid by the Guest shall be as listed in Appendix 1.
- 2. Payment of the above charges shall be made online in currency or by means approved by the Facility (such as credit cards or accommodation vouchers) when requested by the Facility.
- 3. Even if the Guest does not voluntarily stay after the Facility has provided the room, the accommodation fee shall still be charged.
- (Liabilities of the Facility)

The Facility shall compensate for damages caused to the Guest due to non-fulfillment of the accommodation contract or related agreements, unless due to reasons not attributable to the Facility.
- 2. The Facility has liability insurance in case of fire or other emergencies.
- (Handling When Reserved Rooms Cannot Be Provided)
- Article 13

If the Facility cannot provide the reserved room, it shall, with the Guest’s consent, try to arrange another accommodation under the same conditions.
- 2. If the Facility cannot arrange alternative accommodation, it shall pay compensation equivalent to the cancellation fee, which shall be applied to the Guest’s damages. However, if the Facility is not at fault, no compensation shall be paid.
- (Custody of Luggage and Belongings)
- Article 14

The Facility does not accept custody of luggage or belongings. If luggage or belongings are left behind after checkout and ownership is identifiable, the Facility shall contact the owner and seek instructions. If no instructions are given or the owner cannot be identified, the items will be kept for 14 days (including the day of discovery) before disposal.
- 2. Notwithstanding the above, food, magazines, and items that may compromise hygiene, or waste-equivalent items, will be disposed of the next day.
- (Liability for Parking)

When Guests use the Facility’s parking lot, the Facility only provides space and shall not be liable for management of the vehicle. However, if damage occurs due to intent or gross negligence by the Facility, the Facility will be liable. Vehicle keys will not be held.
- (Liability of the Guest)

If the Guest causes damage to the Facility through intent or negligence, the Guest shall compensate for the damages.
- (Amendment of Terms and Conditions)
- Article 17

These terms and conditions are considered standard terms under the Civil Code. They may be revised if deemed in the general interest of the Guest or for valid reasons.
- 2. Revisions will take effect from the effective date specified at the time of posting on the official website. A copy of the revised terms will be placed in the guest rooms.

- Notes

- Cancellation fees are calculated from the day the notification of cancellation is received from the guest.
- The percentages indicate the ratio of the cancellation fee to the basic accommodation fee. However, for accommodation packages that include breakfast, etc., the publicly announced amount (hereinafter referred to as the “package fee”) will be collected as the cancellation fee.
- In the case of consecutive stays by the same guest, the total basic accommodation fees (or package fees) for all consecutive days will be collected as the cancellation fee. In cases where the length of stay is shortened, the basic accommodation fees (or package fees) for the shortened period will be collected as the cancellation fee.
