Terms of Use
- Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- 1. These Terms of Use apply to the use of the facilities and services provided by “G.O.A.T. The Summit Club” (hereinafter referred to as “the Facility”).
- 2. Guests shall comply with these Terms of Use, the Accommodation Agreement, the Welcome Guide, and any requests made via email or verbally.
- Article 2 (House Rules)

- Smoking on the premises: The entire facility is non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
- Garbage disposal: Please separate and dispose of garbage at designated locations.
- Damage or loss of facilities or equipment: If facilities or equipment are damaged or lost, the guest shall bear the cost of repair or replacement.
- Restrictions on cooking that generates smoke: Do not cook items such as grilled meat indoors without sufficient ventilation.
- Window management: Be sure to close all windows before leaving the premises.
- Handling of equipment: If you break or lose any equipment, please report it immediately. For safety, please separate any broken dishes or glasses from other trash for the cleaning staff. Replacement costs may be requested if necessary.
- Prohibition of entry under buildings: For safety reasons, entry under the buildings is strictly prohibited.
- Use of fireworks: Fireworks other than handheld types (e.g., aerial fireworks, rocket fireworks, fountain-type) are prohibited as they are dangerous and a nuisance. When using handheld fireworks, ensure the fire is fully extinguished and does not spread to nearby vegetation or structures.
- Accompanying pets: Only dogs are permitted as companion animals.
- Article 3 (Rules for Sauna Use)

- Please use the sauna at your own risk. The Facility is not responsible for any accidents or health issues resulting from sauna use.
- To avoid the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, always keep the stove door closed after lighting, except when adding firewood.
- Keep the ventilation fan switch off at all times and do not close the air intake vent.
- Never extinguish the fire with water. This may damage the stove.
- Do not remove firewood once it has been placed inside.
- Wearing shoes is strictly prohibited in the sauna room and on the wooden deck.
- When performing löyly, do not pour water on anything other than the sauna stones.
- Do not place gas canisters or similar items inside the sauna.
- Do not split or cut firewood on the wooden deck.
- If you feel short of breath, exit the sauna immediately and ventilate.
- Article 4 (Use of the Stream)
- To enjoy the nearby stream safely, please observe the following:
- Requirement to wear swimwear: Always wear swimwear when entering the stream. Refrain from entering the water without appropriate attire.
- Parental supervision: Children in junior high school or younger must be accompanied by a guardian when entering the stream. Please prioritize their safety and maintain supervision at all times.
- Prohibition of alcohol consumption: Alcohol consumption near the stream is prohibited. Please cooperate to ensure safety as accidents are more likely to occur near water.
- Prohibition of entry during high water: If the water level is high (e.g., submerging the lowest step of the stairs), entering the stream is extremely dangerous and strictly prohibited. Check the water conditions in advance and act with safety as your top priority.
- Article 5 (Use of Parking Lot)

- Disclaimer for parking lot use: The Facility is not liable for any accidents, damage, or scratches to vehicles while using the parking lot. Use is at your own risk.
- Parking hours: Parking is allowed from 3:00 PM on the check-in day until 11:30 AM on the check-out day. Please refrain from parking outside these hours.
- Vehicle movement after parking: Cleaning vehicles may need to park, so please promptly move your vehicle after check-out.
- Article 6 (Safety and Emergency Response)
- In case of emergencies, follow instructions regarding evacuation procedures when the fire alarm is triggered and emergency contact information provided.
- Article 7 (Privacy and Protection of Personal Information)
- Personal information provided will be used solely for accommodation management and service provision and will be properly protected.
- Article 8 (Changes to the Terms of Use)
- These Terms of Use may be revised as necessary, and any revisions will be announced by posting on the Facility’s website.
Accommodation Terms and Conditions
- (Scope of Application)
- Article 1

The accommodation contract and related agreements concluded between our facility and the guest shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally established customs.
- 2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, when our facility agrees to a special agreement within the scope not contrary to laws and customs, such special agreement shall prevail.
- (Application for Accommodation Contract)
- Article 2

A person who intends to apply for an accommodation contract with our facility shall notify the following matters:

- (1) Name of guest
- (2) Date of accommodation
- (3) Other matters deemed necessary by our facility
- 2. If the guest requests to extend their stay beyond the date mentioned in item (2) of the preceding paragraph during the period of stay, such request shall be treated as a new application for an accommodation contract at the time the request is made.
- (Conclusion of Accommodation Contract, etc.)
- Article 3

- The accommodation contract shall be deemed concluded when our facility accepts the application set forth in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply when our facility proves that it did not accept the application.
- 2. Upon conclusion of the accommodation contract under the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay an application deposit specified by our facility by the date designated by our facility.
- 3. The application deposit shall first be applied to the accommodation fee finally payable by the guest, and in the event that Articles 6 and 16 are applicable, it shall be applied in the order of cancellation fee, then compensation, and the remainder, if any, shall be refunded at the time of payment under Article 11.
- 4. If the application deposit set forth in paragraph 2 is not paid by the date designated in accordance with the same paragraph, the accommodation contract shall lose its validity. However, this shall apply only if our facility has notified the guest of such payment deadline when specifying it.
- (Special Agreement Not Requiring Application Deposit)
- Article 4

- Notwithstanding paragraph 2 of the preceding article, our facility may accept a special agreement that does not require payment of the application deposit after the conclusion of the contract.
- 2. If our facility does not request payment of the application deposit under paragraph 2 of the preceding article, or does not specify a deadline for such payment, it shall be deemed that our facility has accepted such a special agreement.
- (Refusal to Conclude Accommodation Contract)
- Article 5

Our facility may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases:
- (1) When the application for accommodation does not conform to these Terms and Conditions.
- (2) When there is no room available due to full occupancy.
- (3) When the person intending to stay is deemed likely to engage in acts contrary to laws and regulations, public order, or good morals concerning the accommodation.
- (4) When the person intending to stay is deemed to fall under any of the following items:
- a. Organized crime groups as defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991) (hereinafter referred to as “Boryokudan”), members of such groups as defined in Item 6 of the same article, associate members, or affiliates thereof, or other antisocial forces
- b. Corporations or other organizations controlled by Boryokudan or its members
- c. Corporations with an officer who is a Boryokudan member
- (5) When the person intending to stay is deemed to cause significant inconvenience to other guests through speech or behavior.
- (6) When the person intending to stay is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease.
- (7) When violent demands are made regarding the accommodation or an unreasonable burden is requested beyond the scope of reason.
- (8) When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility failure, or other unavoidable circumstances.
- (9) When the case falls under provisions of Article 6 of the Enforcement Ordinance of the Yamanashi Prefecture Hotel Business Law.
- (10) When our facility otherwise deems the person unsuitable for accommodation.
- (Guest’s Right to Cancel the Contract)
- Article 6

- The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying our facility.
- 2. If the guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the guest (except where the guest cancels the contract before paying the application deposit after our facility specified the payment date under Article 3, paragraph 2), our facility shall charge a cancellation fee. The amount of the cancellation fee shall be as listed in Appendix 2. However, if our facility has agreed to the special agreement under Article 4, paragraph 1, this shall apply only when our facility has informed the guest of the obligation to pay the cancellation fee at the time of the agreement.
- (Right of Our Facility to Cancel the Contract)
- Article 7

Our facility may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases:
- (1) When the guest is deemed likely to or has committed acts contrary to laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in connection with accommodation.
- (2) When the guest is deemed to fall under any of the following:
- a. Boryokudan, Boryokudan members, associate members, affiliates thereof, or other antisocial forces
- b. Corporations or other organizations controlled by Boryokudan or its members
- c. Corporations with an officer who is a Boryokudan member
- (3) When the guest causes significant inconvenience to other guests through speech or behavior.
- (4) When the guest is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease.
- (5) When violent demands are made regarding the accommodation or an unreasonable burden is requested beyond the scope of reason.
- (6) When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters or other force majeure.
- (7) When the case falls under the provisions of Article 6 of the Enforcement Ordinance of the Yamanashi Prefecture Hotel Business Law.
- (8) When the guest smokes in bed, tampers with fire-fighting equipment, or otherwise fails to comply with prohibitions in our facility’s rules of use (limited to those necessary for fire prevention).
- (9) When our facility otherwise deems the guest unsuitable for accommodation.
2. If our facility cancels the accommodation contract based on the preceding paragraph, the guest shall not be charged for any services not yet provided.
- (Guest Registration)
- Article 8

Guests shall register the following information:
- (1) Name, age, gender, address, and occupation of the guest (For foreign nationals, in addition to the above: nationality, passport number, port of entry, and date of entry)
- (2) Date and scheduled time of departure
- (3) Other matters deemed necessary by the facility
2. If the guest intends to settle the payment specified in Article 11 by means other than currency, such as a credit card, accommodation voucher, or accommodation subsidy ticket, they shall present such means at the time of registration as mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
- (Hours of Guest Room Use)
- Article 9

- The time during which the guest may use the guest room shall be from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. the following day. However, in the case of consecutive stays, the guest may use the room throughout the day, excluding the arrival and departure days.
- 2. If the guest has not checked out after 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure, an additional charge of 12,000 yen shall be paid for each hour exceeded.
- (Compliance with Rules of Use)

Guests shall comply with the Rules of Use established by the facility, which are posted, made public, or presented to the guests within the facility.
- (Payment of Charges)
- Article 11

The accommodation charges payable by the guest shall be as specified in Appendix 1.
- 2. Payment of the charges mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be made online at the time requested by the facility, in currency or by means such as accommodation vouchers or credit cards approved by the facility.
- 3. Even if the guest voluntarily does not stay after the facility has provided the guest room and made it available for use, the accommodation charge shall still be collected.
- (Responsibility of the Facility)
- Article 12

The facility shall compensate the guest for any damage caused by the performance or non-performance of the accommodation contract and related agreements, unless the cause is not attributable to the facility.
- 2. The facility is insured under Innkeeper’s Liability Insurance to handle emergencies such as fire.
- (Handling When Contracted Room Cannot Be Provided)
- Article 13

If the facility cannot provide the contracted guest room, it shall, with the consent of the guest, arrange alternative accommodation of the same or similar conditions as far as possible.
- 2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if alternative accommodation cannot be arranged, the facility shall pay the guest a compensation fee equivalent to the cancellation charge, which shall be applied to the amount of damage compensation. However, if the inability to provide the room is not due to reasons attributable to the facility, no compensation fee shall be paid.
- (Custody of Guest’s Baggage or Belongings)
- Article 14

The facility does not accept custody of the guest’s baggage or belongings. If baggage or belongings are left behind after check-out and the owner is identified, the facility shall contact the owner and seek instructions. However, if no instructions are given or the owner is not identified, the items will be kept for 14 days including the date of discovery, after which they will be disposed of.
- 2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, food and beverages, magazines, items that may compromise sanitary conditions, and other items equivalent to waste will be disposed of the following day even within the retention period.
- (Responsibility for Parking)
- Article 15

When the guest uses the facility’s parking lot, the facility shall only provide space and does not assume responsibility for the management of the vehicle. However, the facility shall be liable for compensation if damage is caused due to willful misconduct or gross negligence in the management of the parking lot. Please note that the facility does not accept custody of vehicle keys.
- (Responsibility of the Guest)
- Article 16

If the facility suffers damage due to the intention or negligence of the guest, the said guest shall compensate the facility for the damage.
- (Amendment of Terms and Conditions)
- Article 17

These terms and conditions fall under standard contract terms as defined in the Civil Code, and each provision may be amended based on the provisions of the Civil Code if the amendment conforms to the general interests of the guest or if there is a reasonable cause requiring the amendment.
- 2. Amendments to these terms and conditions shall apply from the effective date specified at the time of publication of the amended provisions on the website designated by the company. Additionally, in the case of amendments, a written document detailing the changes shall be provided in the guest room.

- Notes

- The cancellation charge shall be calculated starting from the day the notice of contract cancellation is received from the guest.
- The percentages represent the ratio of the cancellation charge to the basic accommodation fee. However, in the case of accommodation packages including breakfast, etc., the announced package price (hereinafter referred to as the “package price”) shall be collected as the cancellation charge.
- In cases where the same guest enters into a contract for consecutive nights, the cancellation charge shall be based on the total basic accommodation fee (or package price) for the entire stay. In the event of a shortened stay, the cancellation charge shall be based on the basic accommodation fee (or package price) for the shortened period.
These Terms of Use and Accommodation Terms and Conditions shall come into effect from August 1, 2025.
